Overview        

     The Overhead Transmission Line Fault Locator is designed for the location of faults on 6-35kV overhead transmission lines, capable of solving various fault types such as low resistance faults, high resistance faults, arc grounding faults, and phase-to-phase short circuit faults. It provides a complete set of solutions for overhead line fault location, integrating four functions: fault diagnosis, AC positioning, DC positioning, and DC withstand voltage. The innovative AC positioning mode detects characteristic signals directly below the line for low resistance faults without the need to climb poles and hang sensors, featuring simple operation and convenient use. For high resistance faults on lines equipped with intelligent switches (with grounding PTs), the AC positioning booster method is adopted, eliminating the need to disconnect the PT. The transmitter is equipped with a large capacity lithium battery for easy use and portability.      

     The entire system mainly consists of a transmitter, receiver, AC booster, direct connection sensor, hanging sensor, arc grounding adapter, and accessories.

    ▷ Received Signal: Segment search along the, requiring the installation of sensors on poles.

    ▷ No need to disconnect the grounded PT of the line.

    ▷ Innovative comparison ofive current content and current amplitude, solving a wider range of fault locations.

● DC Grounding Location (High/Low Transition Resistance Grounding and Arc Grounding):
    ▷ Transmitted Signal: Large-power pulse DC signal actively injected.

    ▷ Received Signal: Segment search along the line, requiring installation of sensors on poles.

    ▷ All-round positioning mode, especially solving the arc grounding location problem.

● DC and AC Withstand Vol

    ▷ Acceptance test after fault repair.

● The transmitter has a stop automatic discharge function, ensuring safe operation.

● The transmitter has over protection, overtemperature protection function.

● The transmitter is equipped with a large capacity lithium-ion battery pack, easy to carry.

● The receiver uses fully digital-sensitivity signal processing, with clear and intuitive criteria.
