Product Overview
MOEORW-TEV is a partial discharge detection sensor based on the Transient Earth Voltage (TEV) principle, specially used for insulation status monitoring of metal-enclosed switchgear. When partial discharge occurs inside the switchgear, the generated electromagnetic wave induces a weak transient voltage on the metal cabinet surface, which is captured by this sensor through capacitive coupling.
The sensor adopts a disc-shaped structure with a strong magnet on the back, which can be directly adsorbed on the switchgear shell without any installation tools. The internal circuit is fully encapsulated with epoxy resin, providing excellent moisture-proof, dust-proof and anti-vibration performance. It outputs standard analog signals and can be connected to various PD monitoring devices for online monitoring and regular inspection of switchgear.
