Product Overview
    This product is designed based on the Murray bridge principle. It is suitable for locating breakdown points in various wires and cables after installation, identifying defect points with low insulation resistance values without breakdown, and pinpointing faults in the outer sheath of high-voltage cables. It can also be used for locating defect points in various cables within cable factories.
    The device employs a switching power supply to generate a high-voltage constant-current source, with an open-circuit voltage of -15,000V and a short-circuit current of 30mA. A high-sensitivity amplifier and galvanometer indicator for balance, combined with a proportional potentiometer, form a balanced bridge circuit. The entire assembly is maintained at a high potential. The test lead is a specially designed dual-core high-voltage rubber cable. The four-terminal resistance measurement method eliminates errors introduced by lead resistance. The control knobs on the panel are at ground potential, and the bridge is operated via an insulated rod. The high-voltage constant-current source and bridge are integrated into a portable industrial plastic enclosure. Consequently, this device features high voltage, light weight, convenient operation, and safe usage.
