Overview
The 2-station automatic release-type insulated boot (glove) withstand voltage support is developed based on the requirements for power frequency withstand voltage of insulated boots and gloves specified in relevant regulations such as “DLT 976-2017 Preventive Testing Procedures for Live-Working Tools, Devices, and Equipment,” “DLT 1476-2023 Preventive Testing Procedures for Power Safety Tools,” “GB/T 17622-2008 Insulated Gloves for Live-Working,” and GB21148-2020 Foot Protection - Safety Shoes. It enables intelligent insulation withstand voltage testing of insulated boots and gloves as required, making it suitable for all industries involved in the inspection of insulated footwear.
Overview
1.2 The automatic trip-type insulation boot (glove) withstand voltage support can simultaneously test two insulation boots or gloves, measuring the leakage current of each specimen.
2. The insulation boot features a fabric inner lining. Testing employs a dry method using small steel balls placed inside the boot, eliminating the traditional water-filling approach that made drying the lining difficult after testing.
3. The leakage current sampling and tripping mechanisms of this withstand voltage support are powered by lithium batteries, with battery charge displayed as a percentage.
4. High and low voltage circuits are isolated. Leakage currents for both circuits are displayed via high-brightness LED modules.
5. Each test specimen has a disconnect mechanism. If any specimen breaks down or exceeds the set leakage current value, it will automatically disconnect from the test, without affecting other specimens.
6. The support's disconnect current can be set via the display and setting area using the “◀▶”, “+−”, and “┛” buttons.
7. Insulation boot testing utilizes a dedicated stainless steel grounding tray, while insulation glove testing employs a dedicated stainless steel container for operational convenience.
